This Course (CIS 120) is an introductory course into computer science. It assumes no prior background in computer science, programming, or mathematics. It can be used for computer science majors and non computer science majors. (It meets the breadth-first model described in the ACM/IEEE Computing Curricula 2001 Report). This course introduces students to topics such as Web page design, social networking, interactive graphics, algorithms, theory of computation, social and ethical issues of computing.
